A new day has come
Yesterday is yesterday
Mistakes put aside
Where pain and anger lay
Joy and faith now reside
We face the unkind with kindness
We do not concern about things greater than us
Our goofy smiles leave people confused
They don't know what we know
They don't see what we see
There is power in letting go
And letting the past be.
